HeinekenLFDW 2015 Day

It’s always been known that when designers change their names, there’s
often a change in direction or aesthetic of the brand. Orire Omatsola,
the Creative Director of Ré (Formerly ReBahia) did this to impressive
results with her most maximalist range yet. Last spring saw the designer
present pieces with military influences and this season sees her
serving up a brilliant collection of individuality, shifting slightly
away from the minimalist but still maintaining the same level of cool.
The clothes for Spring-Summer 2016 had character, wit and stellar
detailing. Playing with fabrics ranging from organza to aso-oke, Orire
created a vibrant, strong and fiercely feminine collection that buyers
will adore in the coming months. One thing to note, her utterly
beautiful, shapeshifting signature Khabaslot embroidery is Lagos’ sassy
answer to Parisian tweed. Hello Loves!
